NYFTY Labs LLC is committed to making its website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to find information, use our tools, and contact us regardless of how they browse the web.
1. Our conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely recognized standard for accessible websites. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act formally incorporates WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Under the ADA, Title II now requires state and local government web content to meet WCAG 2.1 AA, while Title III (private businesses like ours) does not name a specific version, though courts commonly look to WCAG. We target the newer 2.1 AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we review the site regularly as we add features and content.
2. Accessibility features on this site
This site is built with accessibility in mind. Current features include:
- An on-page accessibility toolbar (the button at the lower left of every page) that lets you enlarge text, turn on high contrast, reduce motion, underline links, and switch to a more readable font. Your choices are saved on your device.
- Text that resizes cleanly with your browser zoom and the toolbar controls, so you can read at the size that works for you.
- Full keyboard navigation, a visible focus outline on every interactive element, and a "Skip to content" link for screen-reader and keyboard users.
- Semantic HTML landmarks, descriptive link text, form labels, and ARIA attributes so assistive technologies can announce the page correctly.
- Text alternatives for images, and color combinations chosen to meet AA contrast.
- Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" setting, which turns off background animation and movement automatically.
3. Plain-language explanations
Some of our content covers complex topics like how AI search engines work. Where the material is technical, we provide plain-language explanations alongside the detailed version, including an "Explain like I'm 5" view on our interactive tools, so the information is understandable whatever your background.
4. Known limitations
A few areas are still being improved. Our interactive 3D tools, the AI Memory Sphere and the 3D Brain Lab, are visual by nature. For these we provide written, plain-language and engineering explanations of what they show so the key information is available without relying on the visualization. We are continuing to expand text alternatives and welcome your feedback on anything that is hard to use.
5. Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) and common screen readers. If you use older technology, some features may work less well; please contact us and we will help.
6. Give us feedback or request an accommodation
If you run into a barrier on this site, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. We take accessibility seriously and aim to respond within three business days.
